Vortex Grid

"Vortex Grid" is an original pen plotter drawing — not a print or reproduction. Each line was physically drawn by a mechanical pen plotter following custom-written generative code, tracing a spiral field where radiating fans of straight lines fold into a dense, hand-woven moiré grid.

The piece explores the meeting point of computation and mark-making: mathematical curves translated into thousands of individual pen strokes on paper, where precision and the natural imperfection of physical drawing sit side by side.
